Contracts
The video Contracts documents the act of photographing the correspondence between Eldad Cidor & Eytan Shouker and the Janco Dada Museum in the village of Ein Hod, in northern Israel. Shouker filmed the correspondence to present it as a work of art to be included in his Pyramid Game Exhibition. The video raises questions about the role of the museum; ethical issues related to the establishment’s exploitation of the power it wields; and the question as to whether including the contract in the exhibition transforms it into an art artefact.
